Haitian American Association of Alabama

The Haitian American Association of Alabama (HAAOA) is a not-for-profit organization created with the goal of showcasing the Haitian Culture and strengthening relationships between Haitians and Americans. Founded in June 2018, the organization seeks to support education in impoverished communities, enhance the university experience for Haitian collegians, and reinforce Haitian American collaboration through mission trips whenever possible. The organization also intends to work as a facilitator to promote exchange programs between Haitian and American students when the opportunity arises.
